In recent decades, there has been an explosive growth of interest in both fundamental research and device applications based on 2D Materials, such as graphene, transition metal charcogenides, and black phosphours. Besides, more merging 2D materials such as borophene, silicone, antimonene, germanene as well as layered halide perovskites and selenides, tellurides of bismuth have been introduced. The symphosium will focus on synthesis/assembly, fascinating properties and applications of layered 2D atomically-thin materials and heterostructures.
