This symposium will focus on ceramic materials and composites for magnetic applications, including soft magnets, hard magnets, and microwave devices. Magnetic ceramics will include multifunctional magnetic materials, magnetoresistive materials, magnetocaloric materials, soft ferrites, hard ferrites, and nitrides. Composites will include M-I-M spintronics, hexaferrite-polymer composites for microwave absorbers, and bonded magets, oxide-coated magnetic particles-polymer composites for power inductors
